Crowns

A crown covers a tooth as a thimble covers a finger. Crowns can be made of metal, porcelain, or porcelain-coated metal. Another possible material is zirconium, a strong, white, non-metallic substance that can be covered with porcelain. Temporary crowns can also be made of acrylic and/or metal.
