Root Canal Treatment

The centre of every tooth is the root canal, a hollow space filled with nerve and blood vessels. If this space is not healthy, Dr. Perlmutter will perform endodontic therapy to treat it. Following this procedure, the tooth does not feel temperature, only pressure. Nerves remain in the periodontal ligament surrounding the root that sense touch and pressure.
